DOLLPORT - Last summer, the office of the Royal Doll Astronomer, in partnership with the Doll Academy, announced the creation of a program to offer grants for astronomical re-search and publication. Factors to be considered in awarding grants included whether the project will promote doll undergraduate research, the investigator's willingness to provide information to doll media, and the investigator being Daddy. Daddy will probably be given a grant for scientific travel to Texas this fall. Dollport has already been involved in providing funding for college study and musical arts. Current Astronomer Royal, Grandpa wire, said that the doll government has entered a new era where economic improvements "allow us to more generously fund programs that will benefit our community both now and over the long-term." Regent Timothy L. said he was pleased with the situation and hopes it continues. ¶
